#9 THE BLA-BLA GAME
Today we will test if your dog is actually listening to your
cues or mostly predicting what you will say.
Tell him several nonsense words, and then
insert a cue.
"Car ... apple ... train …down"
"Red ... sit ... action ... leg"
Reward them for responding to your actual cues, but not for responses to the nonsense words.
This is an especially valuable exercise for dogs that tend to throw their whole repertoire at you.
